Rotary Club of Ignacio helped NorthMarin Community Services to hard-scape their headquarters. The center had grass growing around the exterior of the building. The Novato Fired Department recommended that they replace the grass with stones to save water and make it more fire-safe.
A dozen club members turned out to pull out the grass, flatten the yard, put down ground cloth and add gravel all around the building.
Hard work. But a long-term benefit for the center.
Members are shown working and in front of the completed area.

For three years, the Rotary Club of Ignacio put on the only Color Run/Dash in the North Bay. Mixing, color, charity and community seemed like a natural fit and all for a great fun morning/afternoon.
We are proud of the legacies we leave and the memories we have created!

Rotarians across Marin County got together for a Day of Service at the Civic Center. We picked up litter and re-landscaped around the auditorium. Afterwards, we enjoyed a lunch and learned about EV vehicles, EV bikes and recycling opportunities. RC of Ignacio was well represented.

Spring for Rotary! was a wonderful brunch event held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Marin Art and Garden Center. District 5150 celebrated our 2022-2023 Community Spirit Honorees who are three of the Bay Area’s strongest advocates for food security and reducing food waste. These organizations were recognized: ExtraFood, San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and Second Harvest Silicon Valley.
A carefully curated collection of silent and live auction prizes began with 106 California lottery tickets. Why? Because The Rotary Foundation is 106 years old. Auction prizes included a 10-pound wheel of Toma cheese, a week’s stay in a beautiful condominium in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Champagne and Caviar at the historic Pines in Sausalito, and a roasted prime rib dinner for 8.
The event sponsorships, silent and live auction items, as well as the “Fund a Need” auction, Spring for Rotary! netted $103,000 for the Annual Fund of The Rotary Foundation.
