Marin County NAMI Walk-a-thon

An engaged group of District 5150 members has joined a Rotary Action Group focused on Mental Health. It is our vision to create and support opportunities for every Rotary member and every adult and child in our District area to improve their mental health and wellness to lead a healthy, happy, and productive life. 
 
As one of our Group's first joint actions, we have chosen to support NAMIWalks events in Marin and San Mateo Counties. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has organized walk-a-thons throughout the United States to raise awareness about mental illness in our families and communities. The funds raised support the continued development of the mental health healing community nationwide.

We encourage our fellow Rotarians to join us in increasing awareness of mental health issues and supporting the work of NAMI in our communities by either:
