Meeting was called to order by President Tony Elshout, who asked Denis Pepin lead us in the Pledge.  Pastor Stan give the invocation and thought for the day.

Award

Matt Pavone introduced our Ignacio Rotary Educator of the Year – Ken Lippi, with the MCOE School to Careers Program.

Chuck Swensen presented two of the three Wulbern scholarship recipients, Andrew and Betty.  They shared what there plans are for college and thanked us for the scholarships.

Announcements

Wendy Irving reminded us to sign-up for the Novato Relay for Life coming up on June 24 and 25.

Fine Time

The Bear fined the following members:

Dean Moser for his 43^rd wedding anniversary

And Garry Gast for his son Garrett”s graduation from dental school.

Speaker/Program

Catheryne DiPrete introduced Captain Bill Tyler from the Novato Fire District and the director of the Fire Squirts Camp.  This will be the 3^rd summer of the camp, which allows at lest 15, 10-14 year old youth from CASA to attend this one-week of a day camp.  The youth learn much more than just about the fire department.  The team building and camaraderie changes lives.  Bill invited all of us to attend the final day “muster” on July 21^st, 11:15 am at Fire Station 2 on Atherton.

Wendy Irving won the drawing (finally) and received a bottle of wine.

Ignacio Rotary Board meetings are the 2^nd Wednesday of the month.  They meet at the Bank of Marin located at 378 Bel Marin Keys Blvd.  They begin at 5 pm.
