Recognition
Recognition time mentioned Shelly Klaner just back from Naples Florida-visited an aunt and uncle. Rocky Cosgrove hit is big in Scottsdale with a couple of grand won in video poker and blackjack. Think that kind of luck calls for a large donation!
Dennis Pepin was dinged for his wife’s birthday. They are planning to go to Carmel to celebrate.
Tony Elshout volunteered his wife just got two new kitties. Speaker Stan Dennison brought us a special treat – his company’s nationwide speaker Craig MacFarlane. Those not in attendance missed a great speaker and inspirational talk. Blind since an accident at 2-1/2, Canadian MacFarlane shared the stories of his life. Everything is possible with this man! He recommends you take failure and frustration and use it as stepping-stones to a better performance. He has lectured to over 900 Rotary Clubs and traveled the world delivering a message that makes you want to be that better person. His web site is www.cmpride.com. Unfortunately, it doesn’t deliver his personal passion and optimism that hearing him in person does.
