Announcements

-Did you make up a meeting??? Did you know that there’s a spot to mark the date of the meeting you’re making up for right on the attendance log???  Did you remember to give Marie Borders the make-up slip???  FYI, Rotary requires make-up meetings to be completed no later than two weeks following the Club’s meeting date.  You may also attend another meeting up to two weeks PRIOR to the meeting you are making up.  Marie tracks attendance for the Club, so please make sure to give/mail them to her directly.  On another note:  there’s no need to wait to be billed for missed meetings!   THAT’S RIGHT!!! You can pay for missed meetings at the same time you pay for your next lunch at the Club meeting. You might not believe this, but there’s also a spot on the attendance log to mark the missed meetings for which you are paying!!!  Questions?  Please contact Marie at marie@investorstrust.com, or 893-1616 x303.

-Bill Kelly was thanked for putting on a great party last weekend.  A good time was had by all attendees.  Look out next year.

-Larry Levy’s field trip to San Quentin was a sobering event by those who attended.  All expressed appreciation for his efforts.

-Wendy Irving reminded us that Novato Human Needs needs volunteers to sort out food packages on Friday.

-Jan Hutchinson of the Novato Sunrise Club reminded us that they have a Christmas tree/ Hanukkah bush lot at St. Vincent’s.

-Art Wasserman called for food boxers at Marin Food Bank located at 75 Digital Drive on Sunday 16 December.  There will be two shifts:  6-7pm and 7-8 pm, pizza to follow.

-Mike Fish spoke about Monte Carlo, reminding us that the central point this year was to have fun.  He called for miles to be donated to help with the Grand Prize to Hawaii.  So far we have 45,000 of the 70,000 needed.

-Fran O’Brian gave out “Prospector Pins” to Larry Curtis and Rick Ronsheimer for bringing in new members.

-Melissa Rinck, reminded us that the Mackey Terrace party is tonight, 5:30 to 7:30.

Fines:

- Gary St. Vincent’s High School varsity football team went to the Northern California finals.

- Mike Fish owned up to Lisa’s birthday, their anniversary and a trip to Hawaii, forking over a couple hundred to finish out his fines and contribute to the foundation.

- Dick O’Brian paid up for Fran’s birthday.  They had twenty people over for her party.

- Kirk Hylan’s name was caught in the paper.

- Peter Pelham ratted out Daryl for his wife’s new necklace.

- Bill Kelly took his wife to Nick’s Cove for her birthday.

-Paul Hutcheson’s son Ryan is graduating from San Diego State University.

-Kirk Hylan, Dean Moser and Peter Pelham all knew their induction date (I should hope so if they were volunteering).
