Speaker/Program

Dr. Robert Byers is a physician in the orthopedics services at Marin General.  He is on the cutting edge (pun intended) of surgeries in the area.  They are minimally invasive spinal surgeries.  They include endoscopic spinal microsurgery, kyphoplasty and the “x” stop.  Dr. Byers reminded us that great doctors plus great nurses with great physical and occupational therapists in great hospitals working together create great outcomes.

He also reminded us all that we need to have good and strong core musculature and good posture at all times.

Raffle

Phil Brown won a bottle of wine.

Do the right thing

Peter Pelham gave us an important membership message.  We have a goal to get 10 great new members this year.  They help strengthen our club and allow us to continue to do great things.  He also suggested that a weird sense of humor is needed to be a part of our club.

Do the thing right

Survey’s are being sent out so please respond by email or bring to the next meeting.

Having FUN doing it!

Our Queen of Hearts is none other than Marie Borders with her sweetheart Jeff  ¤  (Spotlight answer to last week’s questions.)
