The Ignacio Rotary Club and it's Novato High School Interact club sponsored an International and Youth service project to build 2 homes in Tijuana, Mexico.  Approximately 32 Rotarians, parents and students from Novato High and Marin Catholic schools participated in this worthwhile project.

The purpose of the project was not to just construct homes but for the students to understand the condition of poverty through immersion and live the Four Way Test. The group paid for the building material, brought their own tools, prepared their own meals and camped out for a week. Upon the completion of the project a great sense of satisfaction was felt. Interacting with the families and children and turning the homes over to the recipients was the highlight of the trip.
