ADVID Student of the month Cassandra Pierano
 

AVID is a program that targets students with high potential, who may be the
first generation in their family with the desire to attend college, may have
socio-economic deprivation and/or may not be native English speakers.  AVID
provides a four year support system to teach these students the skills they
will need to succeed in a rigourous high school curriculum.  The skills they
learn in AVID will enable them to enter and and succeed in leading
universities, thus realizing their full potential.
